Important medical disclaimer

1. No doctor–patient relationship is created
Browsing this website, submitting an inquiry through our contact form, or communicating via our official WhatsApp line does not create or establish a formal doctor-patient relationship. You should never disregard professional clinical advice or delay seeking care from a certified medical practitioner because of something you have read on this website.
2. Emergency care protocol
If you or someone in your care is experiencing an acute medical emergency, chest pain, severe trauma, obstetric hemorrhage, respiratory distress, or severe poisoning, do not wait for an email reply or website response. Immediately visit the nearest accredited hospital, health centre, or contact national emergency response services:
3. Clinical partnership with Sameday Health Care
Sameday Foundation is an independent health-focused social-impact entity associated with Sameday Health Care. While the Foundation mobilizes community resources, diagnostic equipment, and medical specialists from Sameday Health Care for charitable outreach, all clinical care provided in field settings is conducted by registered practitioners certified by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) and Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
4. Patient dignity & ethical field standards
In alignment with our philosophy of Healthcare with hospitality, all patients receiving support through Foundation outreaches are treated with absolute dignity, confidentiality, and respect regardless of socio-economic standing, ethnicity, or gender. Donation, refund & cancellation policy
Financial stewardship, donor accountability, and dispute resolution guidelines.
1. Nature of charitable contributions
Sameday Foundation is a registered non-profit organization. All contributions, grants, and donations received are non-commercial philanthropic gifts dedicated directly to funding maternal healthcare, sickle cell diagnostics, school screenings, nutritional support, clean water points, and economic empowerment in Eastern Uganda.
2. Duplicate or erroneous transactions (refund policy)
Because donations are immediately allocated to charitable medical programs, contributions are generally non-refundable. However, we acknowledge that genuine errors may occasionally occur. The Foundation will review and process refund requests under the following circumstances:
- Technical Duplicate Charges: Where an electronic system glitch resulted in the same donation being charged more than once.
- Numerical Input Errors: Where a donor mistakenly entered an erroneous amount (e.g. adding an extra zero) and notified us promptly.
- Unauthorized Transactions: Where payment credentials were used fraudulently without the account holder's authorization, backed by official bank verification.
3. How to request a donation review or refund
Refund claims must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) calendar days of the transaction date. Please submit your request to our Finance Desk:
Email: info@samedayfoundation.ug
Subject: Donation Review Request - [Transaction Reference / Donor Name]
Required Details: Full name of donor, date of transaction, exact amount, transaction slip/reference, and reason for the refund request.
Verified duplicate or erroneous transactions will be refunded back to the original funding source (bank account or mobile money line) within 14 business days. Processing fees levied by banking institutions or telecom networks may be deducted from the refund amount.
4. Recurring gift & pledge cancellation
If you have established an ongoing monthly sponsorship or recurring pledge, you hold the freedom to modify, pause, or cancel future payments at any time with zero cancellation fee. Simply send an email to info@samedayfoundation.ug at least 5 business days before your next scheduled contribution date.
5. Financial transparency & reporting
Sameday Foundation maintains rigorous financial accounting standards, external annual audits, and statutory filings with the National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organisations. Summarized annual program reports are published annually on our website to ensure complete donor accountability.
